Let me tell everyone something! This book is an excellent, hilarious perspective of living with Autism through Micheal McCreary. He is an individual living with Autism who is in his 20s, and he is a stand-up comedian. He really loves to perform on stage through comedy. Ever since he was a little boy, he enjoyed acting. Performing on stage did not completely influence him thouigh about what he does today; When he started writing in his journal during his middle school years, he realized about himself within his writings that he could become a comedian. Micheal does an amazing job telling his life of living with Autism in his book; He does so in a way that makes people laugh and feel good about themselves. Plus, the title of his book is so true because people say this all the time! He breaks down Autism myths in funny ways that are true. We can all learn from his book to see beyond Autism and learn about the individual themselves. To learn more about Micheal, the link to his website is attached below:
